Walk and Talk
Walk and Talk
If a normal therapy setting isn’t your thing, why not try a moving therapy session? Walk and Talk therapy is for you if you prefer to be active outside rather than sitting down indoors.
It has some great benefits; physical activity can act like a natural kind of antidepressant and can help with the treatment of anxiety, depression, and other issues. Also, being outside and getting vitamin D can lift your mood.
During our walks, we go at your pace, so we stop and go whenever you want. We will explore your relationship with nature and the other-than-human world and how this bond affects your emotional and mental well-being.
I am an Ecotherapy Network Ireland member and I believe in nature’s healing power. I am trained in integrating nature with psychotherapy through green care, ecotherapy, and outdoor therapy.

I Won't Judge
I have personal experience with perinatal loss, so I bring a sense of understanding and acceptance. If you have experienced grief or loss, you don’t have to dress up grief for me. I won’t judge; I’ll understand.
I Will Give You Clarity
We will first look at why you are coming to me, and what you need from your sessions. Then we’ll make a plan and check in after six weeks. Knowing you’re going in the right direction will give you clarity.
Simply Be
You may think psychotherapy means sitting on a sofa and talking, but you can be yourself with me. You can be quiet, sit beside me, or simply be in nature. Whatever you need, I will sit beside you and witness your pain.
Own Your Healing
I will give you tools to recharge your energy so you can own your healing. We will analyse activities to help you restore, so you can derive strength from them and start to heal..

Wellies Are Optional
During our walk and talk sessions, we will explore the magnificent Kylebrack Woods in Loughrea.
In the woods are four trails of varying lengths through bogland, pine forests, and along the banks of the Duniry River.
We might see the majestic natural oaks on our walks with their deep-rooted trees covered in moss.
If it’s raining, you might want to bring your wellies!
Call or mail me to arrange an hourly session.
